Our first show of 2013 is on Feb 8th at DNA Lounge in San Francisco.
We’ll be playing with two amazing San Francisco bands:

The “Lions At Your Door” EP will be out June 5th! You can download it on iTunes, Google Music, and Bandcamp. Also, limited handmade CDs will be available online and at our shows!
We got a few things going on with us. Here’s the breakdown!
1. We finished the EP. It’s called Lions At Your Door and will be ready for your auditory consumption in June. You can preorder it here:

3. We have our first show in months coming up on April 27th. Here’s the who/what/when/where/why/how:
Who: The Soonest is opening for our good friends, The Like Me’s, and a new band called Colorscout.
What: no whats. only awesome times and sounds.
When: April 27th at 9pm
Where: The Blank Club in San Jose
Why: To melt your faces so that you will be left with only a neckface
How: With only our wits, undergarments, and bowling shoes. On a side note, it’s 21+. wasnt sure where that information belonged.

we’ve been recording demos and rough versions of songs we want to record in the studio in March. this is one of the songs we’re working on. this may be the final version or it could be something totally different in a few months.
I dont always talk about TAF but it has helped shape me into who I am today and I owe the people I’ve met at TAF a whole lot. This song is written with that in mind.
